River Oak Coaster Set (set of four)

This handsome set of four coasters features four popular designs including a Buffalo, lake freighter, grain mill and lake schooner. Made from white oak out of the former piers once supporting the docks in the Buffalo River in Buffalo, New York. This wood is estimated to be from the early 1600's and locally harvested and installed as river piers circa 1850. Each piece is solid oak and has different character/color. Deeply engraved and sealed these functional coasters are perfect for use or historical display. Each set comes with a fact card and packaged in a burlap bag. Enjoy this set of Buffalo history.
